Shay Mitchell is a Canadian actor, model and entrepreneur. Most well-known is her being the character Emily Fields in Freeform's Pretty Little Liars. After her success with modeling, dance and acting she took acting classes. Mitchell was offered a few commercials and guest roles in a television show. Her big break occurred when she was chosen in the role of Emily Fields. The critics as well as her fans appreciated her acting.
